No matter what your health challenges or level of fitness, you can still practice yoga!
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga. Practice is done both seated and standing (using chair for balance).
Chairs and props are provided to keep everyone safe and supported….no mats required.
With a chair (or two) and other props for support, this class challenges the body and mind through strengthening, stretching, relaxing and breathing. Flexibility and muscle tone will continually improve as your mind, body and spirit work together in harmony. This class is for those who have issue getting up and down off the floor and prefer a chair as their main seat.
Caregivers welcome to join in as well!
