YOGA FOR EVERY BODY

Sonja found yoga during the height of the pandemic. She was working 80 hours a week and living in a constant state of anxiety from everything going on in the world. When she started searching for ways to alleviate her anxiety, yoga was what came up as the biggest suggestion that could help. She started with some videos on YouTube and her physical yoga practice ended up being one of the only ways she was able to find some calm and peace in her life.
Sonja has been teaching for about 2 years, and her favorite style to teach is definitely a tie between Restorative Yoga, and Hatha. She loves giving her students space and ample time to really settle into a pose and be able to experience it in stillness.
Her wish for every student that walks into her class is that they are able to connect with themselves in the way that they need for that day whether it’s physically, energetically, emotionally, or any other way.
